10 weeks old

Austin College sent us this certificate in the mail. isn't it cute?? It is kinda hard to read, so here's what it says: The Alumni Association of Austin College is pleased to welcome Silas Aud Hanley as an official Kangaroomite to Kangarooites Beth and Matt. Austin College with special pleasure will accept an admission application from this Kangaroomite with the class of about 2029. With sincere congratulations from Austin College and the Alumni Assocation, certified at Sherman, TX, this 4th day of Mat, 2007. I think Silas is looking like a little boy.

Its been a while since our last posting...lots has happened. I went back to work part time. Silas started going to the babysitter's. He went on a hunger strike and didn't poop for a week. But he is over that now. He had his 2 month shots and he is 12 lbs 11 oz and 2 feet. He is smiling now. He smiles at Miss Nicole when he is dropped off. He sometimes has an evil laugh. It seems as though he is trying to tell us something now. Tonite is was as if he was trying to tell us a story. He loves his morning tea with Dad. Vander can't wait until he is big enough to play with him. We are starting to get a routine down. Last night he slept 6 hours. But most nights we sleep for about 5 at a time. Over the weekend, Silas was sick due to his shots, and Matt and I both had a bug. It was pretty awful. We have gone to church a couple of times, he sqawks during the sermon, as if he is voicing his opinion about it. I still haven't ventured out shopping with him. I'm not that brave. We are supposed to go get his picture taken on Saturday, hopefully that will go well. Silas likes to cuddle, and as Miss Nicole says he is a touch spoiled. He has rolls on his wrists, and palms. He likes baths now, but always pees in them. He snores a bit, and really wants to suck his thumb, but can't seem to make it stay. He is a hair like me, when he doesnt get his food fast enough he gets very angry. Have a happy mother's day!!!!
