3rd week of life

Silas looks as though he is doing a lot of thinking here. Do you notice on his left hand that he is pointing? He does that a lot, I wonder if that will stay with him, if so, we are in for it. My best friend, Christy, came up to help out for a couple of days. She was a great help!! Christy used to work in retail, so all of our clothes came out folded uniform.

Here he seems to be pondering life.

Silas sleeps like I like to, with one hand behind my head. This is the onesie that my cousin Barbara made for him.

My sister Abby came up to see Silas this weekend. She arrived here at 11:30, she isn't even usually awake at 11:30, much less 3 hrs earlier to drive up here.

We've been doing well. He can't stand baths, doesn't like to be naked. So then, if you are not quick enough about the diaper change you get to see a little bit of temper. He still has all his hair, and he talks alot. The dogs still love him. Yesterday, Snickers heard him crying and came and got me. Today Twix is on guard duty, which means sleeping in the room with Silas all day. What a cush job!
