firsts

We had a great Mother's Day. I hope that you all did too!!! Silas has started smiling and talking. Below he is chatting it up. He has to wind his legs up before he can talk. It is hysterical!!! He loves to take a bath, and kicks his feet over the netting into the tub to just float. He has a huge budda belly, he is definitely not starving. We took our first road trip--day trip to the Jones' house (see pictures below), and our first overnite to my parents for my sister's graduation. He was on overload: his babysitter was out so he had a sub on Friday, travelled Friday night, slept in a new place, etc...so he didnt' sleep much on Friday or Saturday, so by the time Ab's graduation rolled around, he was in a foul humor. But he survived and slept for 7 hours on Saturday night!!! He has been averaging 5-6 hours which coincidentally the books say is all night for a person his age. I don't know who they are talking to, but that is not all night in my book!!!! He has had allergies/cold, so we got a humidifier, those booger sucking things are soo gross! Here is the start of a smile, the camera snapped too soon.

Here is a huge grin! Isn't his outfit cute, the jams?? I think he looks so cute in those!!

Here he and Jeff were just chilling. It looks as though they are in the midst of a great story.

He and Bethany read and laughed. He did so good at their house. He started reaching for things on Caitlyn's play gym. Caitlyn doesn't like socks, so the first thing that she did was reach over and pull Silas's socks off. It was pretty funny!!

He and Matt chilling. They have some good talks.

Snickers is having a hard time adjusting. He has started marking things: Silas's playgym, the diaper genie, Matt's case of dr peppers, the list goes on, and he won't talk to me at all. he turns his head the opposite way when I call him.

Cross your fingers that tonite goes well and he sleeps!!!
