I've found my thumb!!!!!

Silas found his thumb a couple of days ago. He was only doing it at school (what we call Miss Nicole's house, his babysitter). But he was chilling this morning with his thumb in his mouth. Silas is now the length of the width of the bed. He was 24 inches at his last checkup.

Then we moved to the floor to play in our new playgym that Dad got us! He is a vain little guy, he just stared at himself in the mirror!

But then he found some things to bat!!

So he is talking back to us, trying to join in the conversation. He is doing much better at night, we got a humidifier. He took his first overnight trip last weekend for Abby's graduation. We have been recovering all week from it! Twix keeps stealing his burp cloths (I'll bet she'll be his best friend when he starts eating solids!). We scheduled his baptism finally for June 24, luckily we tried on the tux that Matt wore today. Silas is much longer than Matt was, it didn't fit in length! So we are going to try to find another tux. Ms Nicole says the he rolls from his side to his tummy for her. But he hasn't done it for me yet. When Matt picked him up yesterday he had socks on his hands, he looked like a boxer, and his eyes were shiny. Apparantly he was scratching his face and so he had to have vaseline put on it and socks on his hands. So I trimmed his nails last week. I have been back to work a month now. It is getting easier and easier to function.
